Cap’n Mike is a retired Naval Officer with 28 years of active duty, specializing in electronics systems. He’s been sailing since he was a teenager in Meritt Island, Florida. His previous 5 boats were monohulls, but he’s enjoying the multihull life these days. In his spare time, Mike has also captained the 1,500-passenger tour boat, Star of Honolulu.
Colleen is a retired Navy JAG with 20 years of active duty. After retiring from the Navy, she hung up her legal hat and went to nursing school, later working as a nurse in both oncology and surgery. She has sailed with friends for a number of years – mostly as a passenger – but has longed to have some great sailing adventures of her own. What she lacks in experience, she makes up in enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
